Bourbon and whiskey, with the reference shelf built in: a bottle library sourced from the distilleries' own pages, a tasting tool that keeps your journal, and the mechanics of mash, proof, and time — worked interactively, not described at you.
The Pour is a room inside After Hours, the clubhouse's 21+ wing. Posting takes an account — and the room's hard rule stands: nothing is bought, sold, or traded here, ever. A bottle discussed here is never a bottle for sale here.

Quick question before you step in: are you 21 or older?
The Pour sits inside After Hours, the clubhouse's 21-and-over wing. Confirm your age to enter. An account is also required to post in the room.
Your answer is remembered on this device for this browsing session. This is a front-door confirmation for now; account-level checks arrive with the member accounts build.
This wing is 21+ — no hard feelings.
The main floor is open to every member: the games, the Board, the hobby rooms, and the slate are all out front.
No favorite bottle, no vocabulary, no idea what a mash bill is — good, that's the job you hand him. Tell Luka what you've got, what you've liked or hated in a glass, and what the bottle's for; he turns those answers into one pick or one tasting, and walks it with you pour by pour. The shelf sits one step below — the 32-bottle library, the tasting tool, the mash-bill explorer. That's the depth he draws on. Start with the conversation.
Discussion and education only — nothing is bought, sold, or traded in this room, and Luka is never a middleman for a sale. Pours are measured, and the way home is settled before the first pour.
Four doors in
Pick the one that sounds like you — Luka takes it from there
Each door opens Luka with the context already loaded. He asks the quick questions, you answer what you can — partial answers are fine — and the two of you land on a bottle.

The Bottle Library
Search and filter the shelf. Every record is built from the producer's own page — mash bill only where the distillery publishes it, age statement or an honest NAS, and the producer's own tasting notes, labeled as theirs. Click a bottle for its full file; check up to three to compare side by side.

How bourbon works — the working version
Interactive
The mash bill explorer
A mash bill is the grain recipe before fermentation. Slide the shares and watch the character change — this is the single biggest reason two bourbons off the same shelf taste nothing alike.
House education: drag one grain and the others give way proportionally, so the recipe always sums to 100%. Real distilleries guard exact recipes closely — the ones in the library above publish theirs, which is why they're there.

Proof, the barrel, and the angel's share
Proof is just twice the ABV — a 100-proof bottle is 50% alcohol. Federal standards for bourbon cap the story at both ends: it can't be bottled below 80 proof, and it must go into the barrel at no more than 125 proof. Barrel-proof bottles skip the water on the way out — which is why the house method says add your own, a drop at a time, and watch the flavor open up.
Storage, once it's open: upright (corks aren't wine corks), cool, out of sunlight, and an opened bottle is best inside a couple of years as the fill level drops and air does its slow work. The last pour can be as good as the first if the bottle lives right.
Guided tasting — build a flight, keep the journal
The tool
Build the flight
Pick from the library shelf. The sheet pours them low proof to high — the order that keeps the strong bottles from shouting over the quiet ones.

Your journal
Log a pour
My tasting journal
Journal entries are yours — they live on this device, they're never posted anywhere, and they're what Luka reads back when you ask what to pour next. Pours are measured, water and food are part of a tasting, and the way home is settled before the first pour — a ride, a couch, or a plan. Not after.
Weekly ritual
Friday Pour
Every Friday night, one thread: what you're pouring tonight. The bottle, the pour, and one line on why tonight earned that one. The cigars keep it company in the same thread — pairing talk, humidor honesty, and what to hand a friend who's never had one. Unhurried is the whole point of that corner.
Check the Label
Photograph the bottle before you buy it
The wing's signature tool works hardest in this room. Type the bottle's name — or describe its label — and Luka returns the full card: mash bill, proof, age statement, flavor notes, ratings context from named sources labeled and dated, and the fair-price context that matters most for bourbon: the shelf price and the secondary-market number, labeled as the different things they are.
Ask Luka
Ask Luka about the bottle
Order this flight for me. What does that mash bill actually taste like? How do I store an open bottle so the last pour is as good as the first? Luka works The Pour under the wing's rules — deep on the knowledge, honest about the price talk, and never a middleman for a sale.
